We finally have a date for the latest onion 7 software from Samsung to come to older Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series arrived with one onion 7 directly from the box, but it took a while before the newest user interface of the company can filter through the rest of the range.
Now Samsung has announced that one onion 7 based on Android 15 will be rolled out to earlier telephones from April.
One onion 7 -expansion plans
One user interface will start rolling out to older Samsung phones around the world from 7 April. In the US that will come a little later on April 10.
The first Samsung telephones that the One UI receives 7-update, as you would expect, will be the Galaxy S24 series, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 (still technically the top telephone option of Samsung) and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

What adds one onion 7?
Built on top of Android 15, one onion 7 has a sharp new look, redesigned widgets, a split notification menu and various AI improvements.
The now Bar offers real -time updates directly on the lock screen, including information about music tracks and fitness progress.
New Galaxy AI functions include AI Select, which offers contextual AI assistance based on what you are doing at that time. While watching a video, for example, it can suggest that saving that video like a poison. With the help of assistant you can meanwhile summarize or format text while with Audio -Gum you can remove specific sounds from your videos.
