An apparently homeless man slashed two men when they confronted him for throwing trash during a broad daylight attack in Brooklyn, authorities and sources said.
The slasher — seen shirtless on surveillance footage — was going through trash and throwing items on the ground on Garden Street near Flushing Avenue in Bushwick around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday when two men, 59 and 28, stopped him. , officers said.
That’s when the bare-chested trash-slinger turned violent: He pulled out two knives and cut the older man in the neck and the younger man in the right thigh, according to police and sources.
Both men were taken to Woodhull Medical Center where they were listed in stable condition.
A surveillance photo obtained by The Post shows the shirtless attacker walking on the sidewalk, with what appears to be a black garbage bag over his shoulder.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
