Shocking footage shows gruesome moment ‘psychopath’ neighbor stabs knife-wielding girl (10) and grandfather

Shocking footage captured the horrific moment a knife-wielding madman viciously stabbed his 10-year-old neighbor and her elderly grandfather in Los Angeles on Friday morning.

Sad video, obtained by KTLAshows two young children walking down Sunland’s driveway to meet their grandfather for a ride to school, when the psychotic suspect, a mentally ill neighbor, launched his violent attack, sending their relatives and neighbors into panic.

The terrified children can be seen wailing as they sprint up the driveway, away from the raging maniac, who was frantically waving his knife as he darted back and forth between cars.

The senior, who was stabbed in the neck, struggled to get up from the street in his blood-soaked shirt as the alleged attacker advanced on him before jumping into the victim’s black Volvo and fleeing, the disturbing footage shows.

Police said the grandfather, in his 70s, and three children were in the car heading to school around 7:40 a.m. when the madman came up behind them and tried to stab them.

“Upon getting up, going to school in the morning and the grandfather putting the granddaughter in the car, the psychopath runs up to the granddaughter and stabs her right in the arm,” shocked neighbor Mike Agajanyan told KTLA.

“Grandpa runs towards him, he points the knife at him and stabs him in the neck and in the arm.”

Two of the children were able to escape the car, but the grandfather and 10-year-old were both stabbed. Fox 11 reported this.

The young girl was reportedly cut in the arm.

The pair were rushed to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.

The violent suspect, known to police, jumped into the vehicle after the horrific attack and drove away, ditching the car a few miles away.

He was arrested and taken into custody hours later, around 2 p.m.

Community members told KTLA that the alleged perpetrator is a troubled man in his 30s who lives with his parents and has been terrorizing people in the area for years.

“It’s scary, but honestly not surprising because we’ve had problems with him for years,” said a neighbor.

“He has been arrested several times, his own relatives have called the police on him. He is always released.”

The suspect’s concerned family explained that they have tried to get him help for his mental illness, but did not provide any additional information about his condition.

Police have not released the man’s name or charges.
