A heartless stranger pushed an 82-year-old woman onto the tracks on a Queens subway in a random attack on Wednesday, police said — the latest in a series of violent encounters on the city’s subway.
According to authorities, the creep pushed the elderly victim at Vlissingen-Mainstraat station No. 7 just before noon while the train was in the station.
Sources said she hit her head on the side of the train, leaving a bloody scene, before landing on the tracks between cars.
She was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital by paramedics in stable condition.
The suspected shover fled the station and was still at large Wednesday evening.
The horrific incident comes after a series of disturbing crimes on Big Apple public transport.
Last week, semi-naked sex fiend Lamel Batten – who has a whopping 51 previous arrests to his name – allegedly tried to rape a woman as she got off a bench at the 116th Street/Columbia University subway station.
Batten allegedly jumped the woman, threw her against a wall and ripped open her shirt while clawing at her.
The terrified victim managed to escape when Batten tried to take off her pants, police said.
A day earlier, a 45-year-old man was stabbed in the chest during a collision on a train platform in the Bronx.
The victim was stabbed just before 3 a.m. at the 138th Street-Grand Concourse subway station Nos. 4 and 5 in Mott Haven.
He was taken by medics to Lincoln Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
A week earlier, a madman punched a 62-year-old woman senseless in the face and pushed her onto the Brooklyn subway tracks when she ignored his request for a lighter.
The suspect, Shadrach Ford, 30, was arrested the next day and charged with attempted murder.
