The Chicago police are looking for a non -ignored man who is accused of worsened criminal sexual abuse of children in Jones Park in the South Loop on Wednesday evening.

The incident took place around 7:37 PM on 11 June in the 1200 block of South Plymouth Court, right next to the South Loop Elementary School.

Three girls played on the playground of the park when the man was approaching. He reportedly grabbed a minor while she crawled on playground equipment. He then sat next to another girl, kept in a short conversation and touched her inappropriate, the police said.

The girls left the playground, but the perpetrator followed them shortly before he fled to the north through the tunnel of Plymouth Court.

The suspect is described as black, 60-70 years old, with a bald head, gray or white face hair, missing teeth and at least one gold tooth. He was wearing a black shirt with long sleeves with a white skeleton sticker and jeans.

The police urge residents to remain vigilant, report suspicious activities and warn others in the community. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Special Investigations Unit on 312-492-3810 or to submit an anonymous tip on CPDTIP.com, referring to case #JJ290867.

CWBCHICAGO was founded in 2013 by five residents of Wigleyville and Boystown who had been discouraged with inaccurate information that was provided during meetings of the local community policing (CAPS). Our coverage area has since been expanded to cover Lincoln Park, River North, De Loop, Uptown and other North Side areas. But our mission remains unchanged: to provide original reporting of public safety with a better context and more detail than regular media. Our editorial e -mail address is news@cwbchicago.com
