A 15-year-old boy was killed and two other teenagers were shot and injured in a few separate shootings in New York City who, according to the authorities, took place less than an hour in succession on Tuesday.

The back-to-back shootings took place just 35 minutes apart in Queens and Brooklyn-with suspects in both cases still free, the police said.

Officers responded around 3.33 pm to an apartment building in 80 East 93rd Street in East Flatbush and found a 15-year-old boy in the lobby with a shot wound at the head and a 16-year-old boy on the third floor that was beaten in the right shoulder.
