The site is intended for honest conversations based on federal and authoritative data. Our pet peeve is that other sites seem reluctant to engage in fact-based discussions with the public. Advocacy seems to rule the internet; There are few sites that cover crime and the justice system without an agenda.
We do not ask for money, unlike the vast majority of crime related sites. We are self-financed. We do not use advertisements. You can’t take money from the foundation without supporting their agenda.
The site serves the public through articles and podcasts that contain multiple sources of good (mostly federal) data. Some items are made in a day. Some take weeks to seek expert advice.
The site aims to break down complex topics into products that the average person can use to understand crime and related legal topics.
