After a woman Kemonte Rice accused her of forcing her to have sex last fall, prosecutors of justice Ankur Srivastava asked to keep the 25-year-old in prison for accusation of sexual violence and firearms. Instead, the Srivastava placed rice on a ankle monitor and released him at home restriction.
He then wore that single monitor, according to officers of justice, his 13-year-old cousin, Tawon Tribble Jr., accidentally shot down and suicide on March 24 after Rice told the boy to unload the weapon and clean the bullets. Still in the ankle monitor, Rice left his house before an ambulance arrived, went to his mother’s house and the firearm hid under a mattress, said civil servants.
Rice is now confronted with charges in connection with the death of the boy and, unlike his experience last fall, a judge ordered him to stay in prison.
Sexual attack on shot costs
At the end of September, Rice and a woman were busy with consensual sex when she told him to stop because he lasted too long and had to attend a birthday party, officials said.
Instead, Rice reportedly made a gun and forced the woman to continue. She gave up and, while she was placed on top of rice with her back, her sister texted to warn the police and claimed that a man raped her under shot, alleged public prosecutors.
The Chicago police arrived and took rice in custody. A few days later, Srivastava rejected the detention of the state and released rice on electronic monitoring, according to the court reports.
A shooting
Almost six months later, around 5 pm on March 24, the 13-year-old Tawon Tribble Jr. To Rice’s house to hang around, something they often did. They were just over an hour together in Rice’s bedroom, while other adults were elsewhere in the house.
Those adults heard a loud tree around 6 p.m.

Tawon died of a single shot wound on his chest. Researchers believe that the gun was fired up close and lab analysis later found no traces of gunpowder on the hands of Rice or the clothing he wore that day, said public prosecutors.
While the police found a living bullet in Rice’s bedroom floor, they did not recover a shell or a gun.
Researchers found rice at his mother’s house, where they custody him. Someone in the house would have told the police that they were looking for the building for a firearm after rice had arrived, worried that he had brought a gun to the house. That person reported to find a gun under a mattress and put it in a pizza box in the freezer. Another person had already removed the weapon from the freezer and then surrendered it to the Chicago police.
Lab -Tests confirmed that the gun was surrendering to the police the weapon that killed the bullet that Tawwon killed, said prosecutors.
During police interviews, Rice gave various reports of the incident. He initially identified someone else as the shooter, but eventually stated that the gun was shot while Tawon played with it, said prosecutors.
At the time, no charges were filed against rice and he was released while detectives continue their research.
Days after the police had released Rice, a witness raised a phone call in which he reportedly admitted that he had told Tawon to “unload the firearm and clean the bullets,” the provider said. He further stated that Tawon was stated with the gun while he was on the phone and that the firearm was fired when Rice tried to take it away, according to the allegations.
In a separate call, Rice reportedly said that he would not mention the gun for the big jury.
The police reinvested Rice last week to be charged in the death of Tawon. This time he would have told the police that the gun shot when he took it out of Tawons. He also admitted that he had hidden the weapon in his mother’s house, said public prosecutors.
Judge James Murphy III held rice on accusation of children’s threat caused death and obstruction of justice. He also ordered rice in custody because of the violation of the conditions of pretrial release in the sexual abuse and firearms case that was submitted against him last fall.
