Chicago a 15-year-old boy was part of a group that robbed three people in a red line train in 95th Street at the end of last year, the police said this week.

Around 10:52 am on December 29, “different” victims were robbed by at least four perpetrators while driving on the train, officials said. On 95th Street the victims were a 15-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man.

Officers of Justice accused 20-year-old Jemaal Muhammad for robbing the 15-year-old earlier this year. He is also accused of robbing a 44-year-old man minutes later on the red line in 79th Street. They said he implied that he had a gun while the group robbed the victims.

Muhammad was arrested a day after the Chicago police had released security images of four suspects sought in connection with the robberies.

CWBCHICAGO was founded in 2013 by five residents of Wigleyville and Boystown who had been discouraged with inaccurate information that was provided during meetings of the local community policing (CAPS). Our coverage area has since been expanded to cover Lincoln Park, River North, De Loop, Uptown and other North Side areas. But our mission remains unchanged: to provide original reporting of public safety with a better context and more detail than regular media. Our editorial e -mail address is news@cwbchicago.com
