Chicago – The man who robbed a Taco Bell in the center of Chicago had demolished his electronic monitoring bracelet after he had gone AWOL of a hanging shoplifting, officials said Friday. Misael “Javier” Velazquez, 35, is also accused of hiring the same restaurant, even after he cut off his ankle monitor.
Velazquez was released on electronic monitoring on December 17, but he disappeared the next day while enjoying a day of “essential movement” that offers the Studies Act individuals who are at home, according to the Cook County Sheriff office.
