Chicago-a 31-year-old man is in a reasonable state after someone had put him in a red line train near Chinatown at night. Chicago police officers have held a suspect.

Officers responded on the platform on 138 West Cermak around 1 am, according to CPD radio activity. They learned that the victim was stabbed about 15 minutes earlier by an attacker who pulled a knife and cut his arm, according to a CPD media statement. EMS took the man to the northwest of Memorial Hospital for treatment.

In the meantime, the police put the attacker in custody shortly, the police said. There were costs in treatment.

CWBCHICAGO was founded in 2013 by five residents of Wigleyville and Boystown who had been discouraged with inaccurate information that was provided during meetings of the local community policing (CAPS). Our coverage area has since been expanded to cover Lincoln Park, River North, De Loop, Uptown and other North Side areas. But our mission remains unchanged: to provide original reporting of public safety with a better context and more detail than regular media. Our editorial e -mail address is news@cwbchicago.com
