The burning questions are of course: who is shot and who is the shooter? But there are still many plot lines that are still left. Here are the other questions that we hope will answer the show en route.
1. Did Greg did it?
We know that Greg (Jon Gries) was involved in the events that led to the death of his ex-wife Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge). But was his plan really to kill her? A popular theory suggests differently.
HBO
In his youth, Greg had been good friends with Quentin (Tom Hollander), Palazzo owner and unofficial leader of the Mafia-Lied Palermo Homos, who spoke to Tanya to get away with him and his friends to his baroque, but crumbling house.
While they are there, they set her up for a cocaine and pink chiffon dress-driven romantic interlude with a local Mafioso. A fantine theory is that Greg’s real plan was to get evidence of Tanya’s adultery to make her pre-marriage agreement too invalid and to allow him to complain for half of her fortune in divorce. He would then share his win with Quentin and everyone is a winner.
That could Meaningful.
Jack (Leo Woodall), Quentin’s “cousin”/contract work seemed to think that Quentin and his friends were dangerous when he threw Tanya’s assistant Portia (Haley Lu Richardson) near the airport and warned her to disappear.
But it is possible that Greg underestimated how far his friend would go to save his beautiful Italian house, and that he is now hiding in Thailand, not only for the FBI, but also from the Mafia.
In any case, if Greg was really planning to repel his wife, girlfriend Chloe could have many more problems than she thinks after her own hunting -based shenanigans with the Ratliff brothers.
2. Will Mook get a storyline?
Since episode 1, Mook (played by Lisa van Blackpink) floats around the edges of a storyline. She is weird for a white lotus character.
Is there more going on? Some have speculated that she was involved in the hotel robbery or is part of a local crime network.

HBO
But there is not much proof of that. From the end of episode 7, almost every appearance of Mook has gone in the same way: she appears in a cute outfit in the Guard Hut -Intake and reprimands Gaitok (Tayme Godhimthong) for his lack of ambition. If it is her task to flirt Gaitok from friendly, mild incompetent guard in stone cold murderer, we should give her a 2/10. Gaitok is still much closer to Mr Bean than John McClane.
We even think that the only way in which she will ignite his blood spirit is to stand in the way of a lost bullet. Hmmm.
3. Which Ratliff ends up in the monastery?
The Ratliff family circles that monastery like a pack of white lotus guests around a fruit buffet.

Fabio Lovino/HBO
The first plan of Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook) was to implement it with a view to living for a year – but it will not really escape if it organizes a number of other members of the Ratliff family.
Let’s view the evidence.
Timothy (Jason Isaacs) had just about the worst vacation that someone could imagine. He started a rich and successful man the week. Six days later he is a financially destroyed social pariah with a preference for Benzos and a habit of daydreams about murder suicide.
And what about Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger)? All this gym that Bro wanted was an uncomplicated holiday difference. He was rejected by apparently every woman in Thailand, just to have a one night stand with his own brother. And when he is finally presented by Chloe, is it apparently (do we believe this?) To fulfill Greg’s Icey Fantasy. Apart from his red pill – lifestyle, the only thing Saxon is going for him is his career – and he is about to find out that is also gone.
As far as Lochlan (Sam Nivola) is concerned, he is already trying out monastic life in an attempt to avoid his brother and to forget what happened between them.
We think it is more than possible that there will be a number of empty seats next to Victoria (Parker Posey) on the plane home. Whether that, or between the Lorazepam return and the social shame, she will encourage her family to skip the last breakfast buffet in favor of a poisoned fruit smoothie.
4. Is Scott Glen Darth Vadar?
Rick (Walton Goggins) and Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) came to Thailand so that Rick could find the man who, according to his mother, had killed his father – and had taken revenge for his own destroyed life. (Not that the innocent Chelsea is aware of this.)

HBO
But told Rick’s mother the truth? The story is almost certainly more. One possibility is that Jim Hollinger (Scott Glen) is in fact Rick’s real father.
But there is another possibility. Jim Hollinger is a red herring – a dead -end Rick is stroking with his girlfriend instead of spending his time and to live his life.
And he didn’t even put a lot of trouble in his plan and decides to have his released complicit Frank (Sam Rockwell) come to his own direction background story on the spot. Yet this led to Frank’s inspired AD-Lib: “The enforcer, the performer, the notary … That was a trilogy.”
What is worse is that Rick Chelsea only left the White Lotus with a shooting. Chelsea believes that she has had two near-death experiences on her journey-and that bad things come in three.
It would be a characteristic Mike White irony if Rick loses the most important person in his life – and the key to his happiness – just when he recognizes who that is. But maybe she will just decide that Saxon needs more a romantic overhaul than Rick.
5. Will Laurie call the police?
If there is one thing that we know about the White Lotus customers, it is that they are a selfish group.
In a season that could function as a in -depth guide about why you should avoid holiday treatments, Laurie (Carrie Coon) had one of the worst of the shows with Valentin’s Buddy. While they were still in bed, Aleksei tried an IRL version of a romantic scam, who put her under pressure to Venmo or Cash app funds to take care of his fictional sick mother.
Then Laurie had to hide from his furious girlfriend, who broke on the pair. Then Laurie discovered a stack of stolen loot before he made an unworthy escape from a window.

HBO
That means she could well know who is responsible for breaking down the very chic gift shop in the White Lotus. But do we really believe that she will probably explain how she knows this about the Thai police? Or get stuck for a test? Unlikely. Yet Gaitok has already identified the Russians as the perpetrators – so it seems that he is left to take matters into his own hands. And if his actions are something to pass this season so far, that is unlikely that this will end in something other than another Bungle.
6. Will Zion close a deal?
Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) was quickly escaped from Greg’s Tête-à-tête and his (miserable low, we think, given his lifestyle) offer of $ 100,000 to remain silent about meeting him. But son Zion (Nicholas Duvernay) seems to have different ideas about what his mother should do. We suspect that he could try to find an owner, so that they may both endanger both.
7. Will Sam Rockwell still get a disturbed monologue?
Oh please. Please, please, please.
