The body of a woman was seen on Sunday morning in the East River near a busy Queens Park-Ongeveer 50 meters away from a deserted with blood-driven Mercedes, said agents and sources.
The police responded to a call of 911 about an unconscious person in the water near Fort Totten on Cross Island Boulevard and Totten Road around 11:15 am, a Nypd spokesperson told the post.
When officers arrived, they found a non -repeating woman who was supposed to be about 45 years old -and EMS employees declared her death on the spot, the police said.
A pedestrian first saw the body that drove along the rocky coastline near a popular jogging path that winds through the Throgs Neck Bridge through the heart of Little Bay Park, says sources.
A white Mercedes E-class with plates in New York was about 50 meters away and large smears of blood covered the rear door of the rear driver.
On Sunday, the medical researcher – who will determine the woman’s death – took photos of the interior of the car before she walked to the body.
The white leather interior of the car was also marked with blood, including a swimming pool on the driver’s seat, says sources.
The police have withheld the identity of women pending the family report.
The local population was shocked by the optimistic scene in the normally quiet neighborhood.
“I have lived here all my life and have never seen a crime scene here,” said Max, a 48-year-old from nearby Whitestone.
“This is terrible. A dead body that lies next to the jogging path and the car with blood on the doors? My daughter asked me if they were photographing a movie.”
“It makes no sense,” he continued. “This is the busiest place everywhere, especially on Sundays. Everyone comes here to ride their bikes, Rollerblade, to take a walk with their dog.”
“This is insane that it is here in the middle of it.”
