The US Postal Inspection Service is ready to open the safe. The agency on Tuesday announced three separate $100,000 rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of three mail thieves who targeted residential buildings across the city.

The thieves have been active since mid-January, investigators say, and surveillance footage accompanying the reward announcements suggests the trio worked together. Tipsters can call 877-876-2455 anytime 24/7 and refer to case 4142062.
