Tonkeeper Pro, the improved version of the leading self-spice-stunned wallet for the Open Network (Ton) Blockchain, now supports Tether (USDT) TRC20 tokens without Tron (TRX), according to the latest updates that will be shared on Friday March 14 with Finbold on Friday 14 March.
Thanks to the integration of the Tonkeeper battery, users can cover transaction costs using Ton or USDT, even via in-app purchases on iOS and Android.
To use the new TRC20 function, users must open their Tonkeeper Pro Desktop wallet, navigate to ‘settings’ and activate the option.
Crypto transactions simplify
Tonkeeper -Battery acts as a prepaid service in the wallet, so that users can charge credits that can automatically process transfer costs.
To refill their battery, users can rely on a number of supported tokens or use a bank card directly via In-app purchases.
Oleg Andreev, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Tonkeeper, briefly summarized the benefits of integration and explained:
“The mission of Tonkeeper is to make crypto payments easy for everything and everyone. With USDT-TRC20 support in Tonkeeper Pro, users can keep USDT payments without trx on balance: costs are covered by the Tonkeeper battery. Support for USDT-TRC20 makes it easier for people to gradually switch to USDT to Ton, where transaction costs are considerably lower and USDT. “
Positioning of Tonkeeper Pro as a payment first wallet
Users do not have to hold TRX for network costs, the addition of USDT TRC20 supports this and underline the position of Tonkeeper Pro as a payment-first wallet.
Tron traditionally meant the need for USDT transfers the need to manage energy and bandwidth costs, which often cover costs with TRX.
Tonkeeper -Battery removes some of these problems by automatically estimating transaction needs and covering them without TRX. As such, the upgrade supports the wider mission of Tonkeeper Pro to make digital transactions more efficient and accessible.
