Focal Stellia High-Fidelity Circum-Aural closed-back headphones $2,399 (was $2,999)
See it
Nothing eats up a budget as much as audiophile equipment. These closed-back headphones typically carry the full $3,000 price tag, but they’re being quite heavily discounted right now. The product description says things like “uncompromising tonal balance, reproduction of the finest sound details at both very high and very low frequencies”, which is exactly the kind of fancy jargon you want with headphones of this caliber. Moreover, the local hi-fi enthusiast on our team can vouch for them.
SAMSUNG 77-inch Class OLED 4K S95D Series HDR Pro Smart TV $3,497 (was $4,979)
See it
I tested the 65-inch version of this TV earlier this year and it hurt to send it back. The 77-inch version is truly a feast for the eyes. It’s an OLED, so it produces fantastic colors and untouchable contrast ratios. But thanks to Quantum Dot technology, it’s brighter than most typical OLEDs. The real icing on the cake is the anti-reflective coating, which worked like nothing we’ve ever seen. Oh, and if you’re spending that much on a TV, you can certainly justify adding a top-of-the-line one Samsung surround sound system.
HexClad Hybrid 6-piece non-stick frying pan set $319 (was $399)
See it
There are more expensive pans, but these stand out in my eyes as a real splurge item. They’re not completely out of reach, but they’re certainly more expensive than anything I would normally buy. They are practical. An aluminum core beneath a laser-etched stainless steel surface provides a highly resistant, non-stick surface.
De’Longhi Magnifica Start Automatic espresso and coffee machine $499 (was $656)
See it
The extra dough you spend on this fancy bean machine offers real convenience. It can automatically prepare coffee, espresso and Americanos with ease. There is a hand frother on board and you can clean the metal parts in the dishwasher. Time is money, and this machine saves you time.
YETI Roadie 60 cooler on wheels with retractable periscope handle $337 (was $450)
See it
If you’re bringing an assortment of fancy cheeses and strange European soft drinks with small pieces of fruit in them to the picnic, you want to do it in style. This ultra-strong cooler is ideal for fishing and camping, but is also expensive enough to impress everyone at the next gathering.
Dynamic Saunas Home sauna with infrared lighting $1,519 (was $1,819)
See it
This extensive wooden sauna offers enough space inside for two people to bathe in the infrared light and heat. It’s like a big health-oriented air fryer that you and your partner can step into to enjoy the health benefits.
GE Profile Opal 2.0 with 0.75 gallon tank $449 (was $599)
See it
Everyone knows that the good ice cream is the only real splurge item. This smart machine makes ice shavings and purees them into pellets that are delicious to chew. I bought an older version of this a few years ago and it was great. I’m seduced by the new version.
Hisense PX2-PRO Trichroma ultra-short throw home theater projector $1,997 (was $2,497)
See it
You can judge the luxury of a projector by how close it is to the screen, and it can create an image of about 130 inches from a distance of about 1.6 meters. It’s a completely new way of enjoying yourself The fast and the furious for the 300th time.
Peloton profile | Treadmill $2,695 (was $2,995)
See it
Of course, you can place your phone on the treadmill screen and scroll through TikTok until the time runs out. Or you can run through live and recorded workouts, automatically adjusting the platform’s angle and speed as you go. This is a great way to motivate yourself to go running.
Real Relax Massage Chair $1,359 (was $1,799)
See it
Once you’re done with your extensive workout, sink into this immersive massage chair. It massages everything from your shoulders to your feet. It relies on a combination of rollers and airbags to squeeze all the stress out of your muscles. It’s like having a Brookstone store in your home.
Rubbermaid Elite Stainless Steel Trash Can with Slim Sensor $144 (was $169)
Okay, so $144 doesn’t sound like much until you consider the fact that it’s trash. This smart can has a sensor, so you can easily wave to open the lid. It’s great when you have something in your hands or you just don’t want to manually touch a disgusting trash can lid to put something in it.
Steelcase Gestures office chair $1,068 (was $1,464)
See it
If you sit in an office chair all day (like I do for about eleven days in a row now), it’s wise to invest in something good. Steelcase makes phenomenal chairs, and the Gesture is heavily discounted during Cyber Monday. This chair allows you to adjust almost anything to suit your body, and it is specially designed for long periods of sitting. It’s sad how attractive that all sounds to me.
