Trump Blasts Washington Post Reporter For Her 'Bad Attitude'

President Donald Trump insulted Washington Post reporter Natalie Allison after she asked him Friday about his “MAGA base” while aboard Air Force One.

“Mr. President, a number of people in the MAGA base say they aren’t satisfied with the administration just focusing on deporting violent criminals,” Allison began.

Trump cut her off to ask, “Who are you with?”

When she replied that she was with The Washington Post, Trump said, “Washington. Well, you’re having a hard time getting readers. Washington Post is doing very poorly. Go ahead. You have a very bad attitude.”

Trump’s remarks came just days after the Post publication had brutal layoffs. They also came after he lashed out Thursday at CNN senior White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins, who had asked about justice for the victims of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

At the time, he called Collins “the worst reporter,” before making a bizarre comment about her smiling.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile,” he said. “I’ve known you for 10 years. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a smile on your face. You know why you’re not smiling? Because you know you’re not telling the truth.”

After taking aim at Allison on Friday, he defended his MAGA base, claiming it “has never been stronger.”

This is just the latest among multiple instances in which Trump has come after a woman reporter. Over the past few months, the president has berated another CNN reporter for asking what he called a “stupid question,” asked a CBS News White House correspondent if she was “a stupid person,” and attacked a Bloomberg reporter with the words, “Quiet, piggy.”
