President Donald Trump’s lawsuit against the company that is previously known as Twitter seems to be over.

Trump sued the social media platform for banning him in the aftermath of January 6, 2021, when Trump supporters stormed the American Capitol. While a federal court declined the case in 2022, the lawyers of the then president continued to appeal.

Shortly after the judge’s ruling, Elon Musk (who became an important Trump crew) acquired Twitter (now known as X) and recovered Trump’s account. Facebook And other platforms then also recovered Trump – although he still places most of his social media on Truth Social, who is owned by Trump Media & Technology Group.

A Court request states that all parties ask the court to reject the case. The submission offers no details about the agreement between Trump and X, except to say that both parties will bear their own costs.

In January, Meta agreed to pay $ 25 million To arrange a similar court case about the prohibition of Trump of Instagram and Facebook.
