The Vax HomePro Pet-Design Vacuum Cleaner is a good all-rounder: there are several fixings for everything, from upholstery to stairs, simple controls, an illuminated floor head with bumpers to protect furniture and a container that does not require messy pets with your fingers. But as beautifully designed as it is, it is quite heavy as a handheld. Moreover, the turbo mode eats in runtime, which suggests that it might be worth investing in another battery if you prefer large cleaning above little and often.

Devices that are clean come with the unfortunate reservation that they have to clean themselves to keep doing the work properly. Historically, even the best vacuum cleaners were a job to maintain, from bin clogs to floor head brushes bound in her.

The design of the VAX HomePro makes it a problem solver for a vacuum cleaner. For example, if your problem cleans under furniture, the head tube has a smart section with up/down with which it can bend, so that it can bend 90 degrees before it goes back in a stick that is stable enough to independently for short periods.

Similarly, if your problem is the ick that arises from having to poke your fingers in a clog of hair and debris in the container of the vacuum, that is not necessary here.

For those who do not like complicated controls, they are at least here: one button for on/off, one for the turbo mode and a beam that taps to show you how much battery is left. The 4.0AH battery itself is loosening for charging with a small charger that is separate from the wall mount, which means that it is not necessary to have a plug -socket nearby.

But the vacuum must be mounted wall. Although independent is a nice trick for pauses in between cleaning, it cannot be stored that way. In general, the HomePro weighs 3.5 kg, with most of this concentrated at the top, so it would be easy to turn it around during storage. Fortunately it does not take up too much wall space, because it measures H116 x W22 x D25cm.

Some of the easiest products to use are those where experience has been carefully considered, and this mainly applies to the HomePro PET design. It is full of functions for vacuuming and keeping it free. For example, the control panel has large buttons and a clear guide to the remaining power: ideal for people with a visual impairment or anyone who has difficulty reading screens in bright light.
We also liked that you can turn it on and off with a thumb while holding the handle. Turbo requires more range, which means that you should consciously choose the High Power mode instead of accidentally catching it. Moreover, it is not necessary to select a floor type.
In general, it is comfortable to push around: there is a generous large handle, and even in turbo mode on carpet, not so much sucking power that the floor gets stuck.
Each attachment is labeled – so you remember what it is for when the instructions are inevitably missing – and it is easy to click on each other and out. A bag for tool storage is included.
The flexible wand from the head tube is especially smart: although the tubes of some rivals are connected to make this possible, the only thing that the HomePro needs is the cover to solve and return it to start. We found it easy to steer around, although we have noticed that while it was easy to turn from left to right, a too much of a corner ensures that the floor pops up slightly. The floor head itself is also slightly larger than some – although this makes short work of large floor areas, it is more difficult to maneuver around table and chair legs.
We have tested the VAX HomePro PET-Design Vacuum Cleaner on both hard and soft floors, using flour to represent fine dust, and oats as a larger debris. On the hard floor, both were easily sucked into standard mode, with a few steps required for full pick-up, but the majority was removed in one pass.
On the Middenpile carpet, the standard mode was sufficient for the collection of flour, but we needed Turbo to completely vacuum the oats, because as standard had a tendency to drop them somewhat on the back. We noticed that some flower was attached to the brush fibers, but there was no hair wrapped around our pet house and all fur was in the trash.
We have also tried the tools for pets and motorized tools for pets on an upholstered bank. We found the tools for pets effective, but it can be heavy in the suction and thought that this was better for heavy lanes on firmer surfaces. The motorized pet tool yielded better results, because it was not only running, the lifted Pet Hair well. That said, we found the HomePro quite heavy to use as a handheld for more than a few minutes.
Our greatest concern was the life of the battery. Although the makers of the HomePro mention a duration of 45 minutes, this is based on standard mode using a non-motorized tool. Realistically, if you use the floor head and eruptions of Turbo Power, you can cut it back for up to 25 minutes. However, the battery has been removed and you can buy a reserve from VAX for £ 79.99. But this considerably increases the price of the vacuum.
A final aspect to note is how easy it is to keep the vacuum cleaner clean. The brush roll is released with a twist, making it easy to erase any rubble heap from the inside, while the BIN -LLEAG expanded the content efficiently.

Vax’s HomePro Pet-Design is available on a large scale in the UK. Although it has an RRP of £ 319, it is available at a number of retailers for £ 199. See it for this price of Amazon, Currys and vax. If you buy at VAX, it will be supplied with an extra toolkit that is worth £ 50 according to Vax. In essence, you get more attachments than if you buy from Amazon.

Do you have to buy the VAX HomePro PET design?
Although it is not a perfect package, the VAX HomePro PET design gets many things well: it is easy to use, easy to maintain and as versatile as they come. For this price you would hardly be pushed to find a machine that offers an entire house, easy between floors, furniture, soft furniture, stairs and pets.
The only real problem can be the battery. By not offering a second, the cleaning horizon is somewhat limited and you may have to use the turboodus sparingly, or a factor in charging time. For weekend suckers, a reserve can be a wise addition to this otherwise well -equipped machine.
