It’s time to say goodbye to Eddie Brock and his symbiote. Venom: The Last Dance concludes the trilogy about the cosmic parasite. For now, it is unknown if the characters will appear in other films from the Sony universe focusing on Spider-Man’s famous enemies.
Even if they do, Tom Hardy apparently won’t return to the role of Eddie. In an interview with Screen Rant, the actor stated that Venom 3 was his last outing as the hapless journalist… unless this is a lie meant to keep a planned project secret. After all, we know Marvel actors who do it (looking at you, Andrew Garfield).

When will Venom: The Last Dance be released on VOD?
The third film about Eddie Brock and the symbiote is now available digitally.
In the US, you can rent or buy Venom: The Last Dance on Prime Video, iTunes and other digital platforms.
UK fans will find the film on Amazon.
When will Venom: The Last Dance be released on DVD/Blu-ray?
The first Venom film to be released on DVD and Blu-ray was available on VOD just a week after its release. On the other hand, fans had to wait almost two months after its VOD release for physical copies of Venom: Let There Be Carnage. If Sony follows a similar timeline for The Last Dance, the film will hit shelves in February 2025.
Please note that these are just predictions. Sony has not yet announced when copies of Venom 3 will be available for purchase. For the time being you can already order them at, for example, at Walmart website in the US and on Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
When can Venom: The Last Dance be released on streaming services?
According to the agreement between Sony and Netflix, the studio’s films are released on this streaming service at least 120 days after theatrical release.
Madame Web arrived on Netflix on May 14, 2024, three months after its theatrical debut. However, it’s worth noting that the film was a box office disappointment, which may have weighed on the decision to quickly release the film on streaming. The much more successful Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was released on Netflix four months after its film debut.
Considering that Venom: The Last Dance may be coming to Netflix at the earliest around January 25, 2025. However, it hasn’t been confirmed yet that the drop will happen this month, so February or later seems much more likely.
An agreement between Sony and Disney, signed in 2021, says that after spending some time on Netflix, the studio’s films will premiere on Disney+ and Hulu. Venom: The Last Dance will undoubtedly appear on Mickey Mouse’s streaming services – although it has not yet been announced when this will happen.
In the UK, Venom 3 will be shown on Sky Cinema.
