A vicious group of house invaders tied two women with tape and left with more than $ 1 million in jewelry, clothing and bags in a brutal robbery in a Queens -House – while children slept in, the police and sources said Wednesday.
A 53-year-old babysitter had just put the children asleep and pulled the waste outside the house on Mayfair Road near 116th Street just after 19:30 on 19 March when they saw five men who stepped out of a white sedan said sources.
She rushed back to the house on the Kew Garden-Block-Block-Block-Block but it was too late, said sources.
The five Bruten sprinted behind her and walked into the house, where one of them pushed her on the floor and held her, according to the sources.
They tied the babysitter with tape and did the same with another woman, 36, who was also in the house, the police said.
Then they fiddled through the building, scooping jewelry, handbags, bikinis and other clothing that was worth no less than $ 1,105,000, the police and sources said.
The callous crew fled the house and jumped into a white 2021 Toyota RAV-4 with a sixth man, the police said. Nobody was injured in the attack.
They were not arrested on Wednesday because the police had released video of the crew that entered the house and later depart with their looting.
