We dream of the day that a robot vacuum is everything you need to clean your entire house. But even the best robot cleaners – with retractable pugs and rotating sweeping machines for edge cleaning – can’t do it all. They cannot get to tight places to clean between furniture, and you still need a conventional vacuum for jealousies, shelves and platforms.
EUFY wants to change this with a transforming robot vacuum unveiled at CES, which can be purchased today in the UK and the US. To find out what it is like to use, view our review or read more for a summary of what it costs, where it buy and what it does.
What is the EUFY E20?
So what is it and how does it work? The E20 is a robot vacuum with multifunctional parts. The filter can be acted from the top and the filter body for a handheld or stick vacuum.

There is a crack aid that is also stored in the top of the robot, for quick access and faster cleaning lanes. The robot comes with a second accessory – a wide mouth/brush nozzle – that you can attach for other cleaning lanes.

Finally it comes with a carpet and wand. Take the filter out and attach it to the magic and you have a stick vacuum.
What does the E20 cost and where can you buy it?
In the UK, the E20 is available online at Amazon and Eufy itself. It costs £ 549. American buyers can also find it on Amazon and Eufy in the US, where it costs $ 549.99.
This is a good value for all the functionality it offers, but it will not be for everyone, because there are compromises when it comes to strength and functions in both robot vacuum and stick mode.
What functions does the E20 have?
But it has a number of solid characteristics, apart from the transforming properties of the head:
- Automatic dust removal to the dock.
- Five-phase filtration that can catch 99.97% of the particles up to 0.3 micron.
- Pro-Detangle Comb: the role turns around to remove it around it to reduce maintenance.
- Flash Charging: EUFY says the E20 charges 40% faster than the industrial stand.
- 8,000 PA sucking power in robot vacuum mode.
- 30,000 PA suction mode.
You can read our review to discover if it will work for you, but the most important collection meals is that what you get in convenience is losing to power. The E20 in the robot vacuum mode has 8,000 PA sucking power, compared to flagship models that may have 20,000 PA. It cannot thoroughly clean carpets and even in the stick mode you get much more power and contains such a waste detection and headlights, from a special model.
We would say that the E20 would be a good purchase for people who live in an apartment that mainly has hard floors. But keep in mind that the E20 cannot mop, so that is a task for which you still need separate equipment.
