You may have heard of Omnia, Withings’ smart mirror, which just debuted at CES 2025. Heck, Withings even sent out an email to all its customers titled “Unveiling Omnia,” but all is not quite right. it seems. More smoke than mirror?
Omnia is a combination smart scale and smart mirror that functions as a home health hub. It combines all health monitoring equipment from the full range of Withings products.
Omnia can give you insight into your heart health, breathing, body composition and more. It may also share this data with healthcare providers – at least if you are in the US, France or Germany. The service will be rolled out to more countries in the near future.
It can even connect with other health apps to provide more information about your diet and activity. Its general function is to “decode your body”, using Withings AI.
There’s only one problem. It’s not really…
The first clue is probably that the Omnia is over 6 feet tall and the base is so large that it wouldn’t fit in an average bathroom.
If you’ve already read about Omnia, you may not have noticed that it’s billed as a concept product. And it’s not something Withings ever wants to put into production.
The aim of Omnia is to show what Withings’ existing products – such as smart scales, smartwatches and the BeamO, combined with AI and a Withings+ subscription – can already do.
And that is to offer an impressively comprehensive health analysis from the comfort of your home. But unfortunately, you don’t get that functionality in the form of an ultra-cool smart mirror.
Still, Withings claims that Omnia works in principle, but the brand wasn’t allowed to use live data in the demo, so while people could step on the scale, they couldn’t get personalized health insights. Not that you’ll find out much more if you wear shoes on a smart scale.

Omnia is getting a lot of interest and attention on the CES show floor, so who knows, maybe Withings will change his mind about it being a concept.
