The woman involved in the car accident of July 6, 2024, killing Vikings-Rookie Khyree Jackson, together with two of his former high school teammates, was arrested on Thursday after a grand jury had charged her on 13 charges, Including Dui and criminal negligent manslaughter with a vehicle.
The prosecutors of Prince George’s County announced that Cori Clingman had been charged almost seven months after the deadly crash killed Jackson, Isaiah Hazel and Anthony Lytton Jr.
She remained in custody on Thursday and would have a hearing about the guarantee on Friday.
Clingman risks a prison sentence of a maximum of thirty years.
“Every life of them was special, important and a tragic loss for their families and our community,” said Aisha Braveboy, attorney of the state of Prince George’s County, on a press conference on Thursday. “These were three young men who had done well in life, who had a great, bright future for themselves. But on July 6 they were all taken away from us. ”
The car accident took place around 3.14 am on July 6, when the Infinity Q50 in which Clingman would have driven, against a Dodge Charger – with Jackson, Hazel and Lytton – and a Chevrolet Impala rammed.

Jackson and Hazel were declared dead on the spot and Lytton died later in the hospital.

All three victims were football players, with Hazel played in Maryland and Charlotte and Lytton had spent time with the football programs of the Florida State and Penn State.
Jackson was called for the fourth round of the NFL Draft of 2024 and had participated in the OTAs and the Vikings mini camp.
