Plume Network, supported by Galaxy Ventures, has launched its public main, Plume Genesis. The platform is the first full-stack blockchain and ecosystem that is specially built for Real-World Asset Finance (RWAFI). In contrast to earlier initiatives that focused primarily on tokenization assets, Plume Genesis offers infrastructure that is designed to integrate RWAS into Defi applications.
With the launch, Plume Genesis Rwas on-chain of institutional quality of companies such as Superstate, Blackstone and Invesco includes. The network supports more than $ 150 million in real-world asset capital and host more than 200 announced projects. It also provides access to liquidity in various activa classes. The ecosystem has a mix of RWAFI-Native and established Defi applications, including Morpho, Curve, Ordly, Matrixdock, Lorenzo, Rooster, Solera and Mystic.
Plume is intended to make RWA -Tokens function in the same way as indigenous crypto -tokens in Defi systems. This allows users to gain access to traditional activa classes and at the same time use tools, such as loans, yield and lever trade. In the course of time, the platform is aimed at more than $ 4 billion in assets.
An important feature is Nest, the internal RWAFI protocol of Plume. Nest offers safes of institutional quality where users can use stablecoins to get exposure to RWAS. In exchange, they receive return-bearing RWA tokens, which can be used as collateral in Defi applications to gain access to further capital and strategies.
Pluim also works together with supervisors and policy makers in the US, Europe, the UAE and Asia to help shape the framework of crypto and capital market. This includes discussions with the American legislators, the Ministry of Finance and the SEC, as well as civil servants in Hong Kong and Europe.
In future updates, Plume is planning to expand the types of tokenized RWAs on the platform. These can include non-traditional categories such as visual arts, precious metals, vehicles, uranium and trade maps, which widens the potential applications of RWAFI.
