It is a clear competitor to the Volkswagen ID. Buzz, which is 4688mm long on a 3008mm wheelbase – a total of just 24mm shorter than the German people mover, but with a 19mm longer wheelbase.

Zeekr says that with a cabin height of 1350mm and a movable center console, the Mix can be transformed into a lounge or even a private yoga studio.

The company says it took design inspiration from “thousands of warm homes,” as well as the Tiangong space station. The styling is “rounded and caring”, with the edges flattened.

As with the 007 sedan, there is a customizable light bar at the front.

The cabin is entered via sliding doors on either side, with a spacious entrance of 1.48 meters wide.

The Mix features a ‘hidden’ double B-pillar design, with two ultra-strong steel pillars embedded in each door.

Zeekr says that because the floor height is 390mm, it is easy for young children and the elderly to get in and out of the Mix. The ground clearance is 165 mm.

The rear seats have integrated legrests, while there are also footrests on the underside of the front seats.

In front of the driver are an augmented reality head-up display, a 13-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15-inch OLED infotainment touchscreen.

The Mix uses Zeekr’s SEA-M architecture and has an 800 V electrical system.

It is available with a choice of 76 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) or 102 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) batteries.

With the smaller of the two, it offers a range of 550 km under the milder CLTC cycle; with the larger battery this increases to over 700 km.

Zeekr says the LFP battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 10.5 minutes thanks to its 5.5C ultra-fast charging capability.

The Mix has vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, allowing you to power external devices. There is a 220V AC power supply in the trunk.

The Mix is powered by a single electric motor with a power of 310 kW and a torque of 440 Nm, which propels the people mover from a standstill to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds.

It features MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link suspension at the rear with frequency-adaptive dampers.

The Mix’s suite of active safety and driver assistance technology is powered by a sensor package consisting of LiDAR, high-definition cameras and millimeter-wave radars.

Safety features include front and rear cross-traffic assist, traffic sign recognition, a traffic light reminder, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, a surround view camera and adaptive cruise control.
