8-year-old shot in belts anger, shooter in general

An 8-year-old girl was injured in a shooting that came from an anger dispute on the road to Chicago’s South Side late on Tuesday evening, according to the Chicago police.

The police say that the girl was in a Nissan Rogue with family members when they got involved in a verbal fight with the residents of a white SUV in the 3000 block of South State around 9.47 pm

A man in the white SUV threatened to shoot at the family’s vehicle before firing two gunshots and hit the girl in the left. The suspect then fled the stage.

Paramedics of Chicago Fire Department treated the girl on the spot and took her to Comer Children’s Hospital, where she was mentioned in a reasonable state.

The police recovered two Shell -Om shells on the spot and are looking for a suspect who initially described as a black man, about 5’7 ″ or 5’8 ″ long, with a medium build, and wearing all black clothing.

CWBCHICAGO was founded in 2013 by five residents of Wigleyville and Boystown who had been discouraged with inaccurate information that was provided during meetings of the local community policing (CAPS). Our coverage area has since been expanded to cover Lincoln Park, River North, De Loop, Uptown and other North Side areas.
