Spend a little summer -time cash? The FBI is ready to help. All you have to do is help them find and condemn this serial bank robber.
The agency says that he has robbed three banks in the past week, one each in Andersonville, Edgewater and Logan Square. Now they offer up to $ 1,000 for “information that leads to the arrest and conviction” of the bandit.
His first target was the fifth third bank on 5918 North Broadway. The FBI says that around 9:51 am on 9 May he presented a note to a counter, but received nothing.
He tried again on Wednesday. Around 9:27 am he gave a note to a counter at US Bank, 5340 North Clark. Again, he left empty -handed, according to the FBI.
But the third time was the charm.
Around 9:29 am on Thursday he successfully robbed the fifth third bank on 2973 North Milwaukee, the FBI said.
The agency described it as white and 5’4 “or 5’5” long with a “light” build. He fled on foot after every robbery and implied that he had a weapon, according to a reward bulletin published on Friday evening.
