This video appeared online a few days ago, but was filmed in August 2020. 52-year-old military contractor Andy Segobia was driving to work at El Mirage Airfield, California, when he suddenly saw a dark ball floating in the air, reports dailymail.co.uk.
The El Mirage airport is used by the military company General Atomics Aeronautical Systems – manufacturers of the MQ-9 Reaper reconnaissance and attack drones.
The size of the UFO was approximately 1.5 to 2 meters in diameter and it hovered quite low above the ground, approximately at a height of 20 meters. Andy quickly grabbed his smartphone and started filming the UFO. The video turned out to be surprisingly clear for a typical UFO video.
“At first I thought it was a balloon. As I got closer I saw that it wasn’t attached to anything. There was no sign of propulsion, there was no sound, it just sat there,” he said.
After capturing the object on video, Andy drove to the building where he had to take measurements. This building was very close to where the UFO ball was hovering, and Andy was inside for less than a minute. But when he went outside, the UFO had already disappeared.
“We (Andy and his foreman) went into this building, which was only 15 feet away, took one reading, walked out the door and the UFO disappeared. Maybe only 30 seconds have passed. I looked everywhere, it was a clear day.
“I would have seen it floating away somewhere. The UFO either dissolved or suddenly popped out. I was angry that I didn’t capture this moment.”
Andy says he regularly sees airplane-shaped drones taking off and landing on the El Mirage runway, and that General Atomics works there to build and repair drones. But he said the orb was unlike anything he had ever seen there.
“It came out silver when I shot the video. But it was a black tinted ball. It gave off some kind of heat or something, a kind of wave that prevented me from seeing the ball.
“If you drive to Vegas and it looks like there’s water on the street, that’s kind of what it was like. Some kind of wave came out, I assume it was some kind of heat.”
The object photographed by Andy Segobia is very similar to the ball filmed in Iraq several years ago. And by the way, it was filmed by the same MQ-9 Reaper drone.
