A British man arrested because he is reportedly trying to marry a 9-year-old girl in Disneyland Paris for a sick social media stunt, a well-known pedophile was sought by the British authorities, said prosecutors.
The 39-year-old man who was beaten on Tuesday with a whole series of charges about what perhaps a sick social media stunt was previously convicted of sex offenses for children in the UK, reported Agence France-Presse.
The British national, whose identity is remembered for legal reasons, is currently “desirable in his country because he does not fail to do the obligations of the British sex offense register,” said Jean-Baptiste Blowier, Meaux’s employee.
Details of his Rapblad came to the fore after the authorities had received him for alleged posing as the “groom” during the wedding ceremony in the popular amusement park on Saturday.
Authorities said the park had been booked for the wedding-for a reported cost of $ 150,000 but delivered employees of Disneyland quickly pulled the pin when they realized that the “bride” was a 9-year-old Ukrainian girl.
The “frightened and confused” little girl was seen in a wedding dress and 5-inch heels “stuck on her feet” when she came to the park, Le Parisien reported.
Authorities later believed that the wedding was a stunt that was filmed for social media.
The British “groom” was arrested in addition to a 24-year-old Latvian woman who occurred as the sister of the bride, the 41-year-old mother of the little girl and a 55-year-old Latvian man who was recruited to be involved in the ceremony, the authorities said.
The fake bride and his fellow samplers had reportedly radiated an online advertisement to recruit wedding guests to participate in the stunt-under adults and 100 children between 5 and 15 years old.
The hired guests would have said they were paid to participate in a high-end wedding rehearsal.
“We all thought we would attend a wedding … everyone was stunned, nobody expected it,” one of the hired extras told the French outlet.
Public Prosecutors said that the Ukrainian child, who had just arrived in France before the Saga, was not subject to violence as a result of the distorted test.
“The investigation, including the minor’s medical examination, a Ukrainian subject, showed that she was not subject to violence or forced actions,” said the office of the public prosecutor.
Disneyland Paris acknowledged that they accepted the payment for the event, but the “immediately canceled” when the “identification of considerable irregularities” came to light.
The British man, who remains in custody, is accused of fraud, breach of trust, money laundering and identity theft.
