A man in the suburbs and two unknown accessories formed a burglary team that was specifically aimed at high-end houses in Chicago, so that they could get the most valuable jewelry, cash and other available yields, officials say. The group is said to have broken into more than a dozen houses from the Gold Coast and Lincoln Park to Bucktown and West Town during a months-long crime wave of Bucktown and West Stad and left with real estate worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
But when Chicago Cops recently arrested one of the men to hire, he would have told them that he did it to support his relatives.
CPD released a warning and images of the crew in October. By that time, however, they had been broken in Huizen for at least five months, now say public prosecutors.
Details about the group were unveiled if the public prosecutors accused 36-year-old Gregory Miller of Justice of 13 home burglaries and an attempted burglary in the resident. But CPD believes that the group is responsible for even more burglaries.
Judicial data show that Miller was accused of hiring the house of a Chinatown woman in April 2023, but public prosecutors allowed him to argue that a crime for crime on Valentine’s Day 2024.
Only three months later, on 11 May, Miller broke into the house of a Humboldt Park family and stable up to $ 200,000 in jewelry, prosecutors claim. That burglary on the 2400-block of West Haddon was the first of many more.
He is also accused of organizing luxury houses last year in:
- The 1000 block of North Wood on May 14
- The 1800 block of North Maud on May 16
- The 1600 block of West Erie on July 14
- The 1400 block of West Erie on September 3
- The 1700 block of West Erie on September 18
- The 2000 block of West Race on September 20
On October 2, he and two friends are said to have broken into a beautiful house in the 2200 block of North Leavitt in Bucktown. CPD -Detectives Video released video from the crew that leaves the stage. While two of the burglars wore hoodies over their heads, a man who looked like Miller was uncovered his head while he ended the alley with the yield under his arm.
In that alert, CPD said that the crew also broke another house on the same day in the 1800 block of West Dickens and two days later in the block 2000 of West Churchill.
Our report on the police notified video van de Dickens -Burglars at work. But Miller is not accused of the other two crimes mentioned in the police bulletin.
The crew is said to continue to work, even after the police had issued a warning.
Public Prosecutors also accused Miller of Breking Houses in:

Judge Rivanda Doss Beal ordered Miller to hold while waiting for the trial. She said that he and three others committed the burglaries, and his “distinctive hairline” and “distinctive earrings” were repeatedly seen in surveillance images.
She said that he was “high -end houses … to get the highest jewelry and items available” and called him a “danger of high -end residents in Chicago.”
When the police finally took him in custody, Miller gave “the excuse to steal to support family members,” said Doss Beal.
