Chilling -video shows a sick FireBug who quietly set a homeless woman on fire – burned her so seriously and she was intubated and unable to identify her attacker for a few weeks, according to the police.

The disturbing images of the security camera that were released on Wednesday shows a car that makes a U-turn and then crossed where a 49-year-old woman slept in a Sacramento Street on 26 April.

The driver then gets out quietly, holds a bus and walks to the sleeping woman – suppresses her with an unknown liquid, shows the clip.

Suddenly the woman burst into an eruption of flames, according to the video. The driver then seems to argue with someone before he goes behind the wheel again and peeling off.

The victim suffered serious burns to about a third of her body-including her face, trunk, arms and backs and was intubated in a local hospital for more than two weeks.

She recovered enough to speak with researchers on Tuesday and is said to have identified her attacker as Jacqueline Popaibarra, 34, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

The identification of the victim has not been released.

Both women knew each other, said the Sheriff office, without working in what the horrible attack could have motivated.

It was also not immediately clear how Popaibarra set fire to the sleeping woman.

Popaibarra, who is not homeless, even kicked the burning victim before she fled, said the Sheriff office.

Popaibarra was already in custody of the Sacramento police on a non -related robbery when she was identified as the suspected Firebug.
