Guaranteed Rate Affinity appoints new vice president of mortgage lending

Guaranteed rate affinity announced a promotion Tuesday as the joint venture named 22-year industry veteran Mark Rawls as vice president of mortgage lending.

Rawls is the latest addition to a leadership team of seven executives at the development company. Guaranteed Rate Affinity was created in 2017 from a collaboration between Ratepreviously branded as Guaranteed rateAnd Real estate everywhereformerly known as Realology. The company is in an expansion mode and is strengthening its offerings to meet new market demands.

Guaranteed Rate Affinity highlighted Rawls’ promotion as a significant development in their partnership with the New Jersey-based real estate franchise Coldwell bankera subsidiary of Anywhere. Rawls will use his communications and leadership skills to help the company expand its customer base of homebuyers in North Carolina.

Coldwell Banker’s leadership team also praised Rawls for his commitment to the community and real estate, highlighting his presence as a key component in accelerating the mortgage process for consumers.

Rawls’ previous experience spans several companies, including Movement Mortgage And WR Starkey Mortgage. At Movement, Rawls started as a loan officer before taking over as producing bank manager. He also received the company’s Presidents Club award for top performance six times. Scotsman Guide recognized Rawls as one of the top 1% creators for four years.

Guaranteed Rate Affinity currently has three locations in North Carolina. The company has offered more than $100 billion in financing since its founding, and Rate has a majority stake of 50.1%.
