LDV Australia has remembered 4785 examples of the LDV D90due to a manufacturing defect that could cause the large off-road SUV to overheat and lose power while driving.
“A manufacturing error can cause the T-piece connector in the coolant lines to fail. If this happens, it may result in coolant leakage,” the Chinese brand said in its recall notice.
“As a result, the engine may overheat and possibly stall, leading to loss of propulsion while driving.
“A sudden loss of traction while driving may increase the risk of an accident resulting in injury or death to the vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”
