Man tried to kidnap 6-year-old from Ada Park, Chicago police say

CHICAGO – Police are on the hunt for a man who allegedly followed a group of children and tried to kidnap a 6-year-old child from a city park on Friday.

According to a bulletin released by Chicago police Saturday morning, the man was near Ada Park, 11250 South Ada, in Morgan Park, when he began following a group of children.

He also invited the children to his home and tried to touch and kidnap a six-year-old girl, according to the bulletin.

Police said the man is Hispanic, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 160 to 180 pounds.
