PartyNextDoor Turns Attention with NSFW Album Cover for ‘PND 4’

Thanks PartyNextDoorwe have a new entry in the long and glorious canon of decided NSFW album covers.

This week, PND rolled out the cover for its upcoming album, which will be released just over four years after its release Drake And Rihanna-of Party mobile. Face down and naked on the cover @maaminextdoorcomplete with a tattoo on the lower back of a “4” (as in PND4) which serves as the only text on the image aside from a well-placed parental advisory label.

In an IG Stories update, the model at the center of kicking off PND’s new era called it out @beechabraids for their help in bringing this look to life. She soundtracked the post with PND’s “Real Woman,” a recently released single from the album.

“[M]y body TEAAAA,” she wrote.

Naturally, PND fans had a lot to say about the band’s own sexually charged album art. Interestingly, the art for PND 4 marks the first time that PND himself is not on the cover of one of his studio albums.

Meanwhile, some have speculated that the album’s final cover could change ahead of the streaming rollout, while a few further speculated that the April 1 reveal of the quickly shared image everywhere could be worth mentioning. However, the album official pre-save page actually has this as a cover.

In conversation with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s New Music Daily in March, PND explained the reasoning behind returning to his back-to-back series of projects (PND3 arrived in 2016) after taking a break from the aforementioned Party mobile.

“Just where I was in my personal life, how motivated I was, it just reminded me of where I was during that streak,” PND told Zane at the time. ‘So of course it had to be that way PND4. It had to be this way. I’m so excited about this album.”
