PRINCESS Kate has been working from home as she settles back into her normal life and duties.
The royal, 42, was spotted with Prince William this weekend – and we exclusively published a video of the pair.
In the clip, Kate can be seen beaming as she walks alongside Wills and leaves a farm shop near their home in Windsor.
It was the first time we’d seen the couple together since Christmas and it was a welcome sight for royal fans around the world.
The princess won’t be back in the public eye until after Easter, but Kensington Palace has now said she has been working on one of her beloved projects at home.
Kate has hailed her Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood, which aims to raise the profile of early childhood development, as her “life’s work”.
In November last year she beamed as she gave her biggest speech yet as she announced her ‘vision for the future’.
And even while she’s recovering at home from abdominal surgery, Princess Kate is involved in the project.
The charity has funded a trial of a baby observation tool and the results will be published today.
And Kate obviously invested a lot in the four-month trial period, even while she was recovering.
Kensington Palace told the Telegraph: “The princess was kept informed throughout the entire process.”
Kate’s love for the project was something Prince William made a touching comment about on Tuesday.
Wills beamed when he met locals working in – and affected by – homelessness in Sheffield.
There, someone touched on the subject of childhood, to which Wills immediately smiled, before referring to the success of his wife’s projects.
The heir said his wife should have been by his side today, after years of working on Early Years projects.
Wills held out his palms and grinned, “We’re trespassing on my wife’s territory. She needs to be sitting here to hear this.”
It was the first time the heir had been seen since the clip of him and Kate was made public.
Princess Kate’s video shows her recovery and warms my heart, says royal photographer Arthur Edwards of The Sun
It’s lovely to see Catherine looking so happy.
People keep asking me, ‘Where’s Kate? How’s Kate?’
These photos are the answer. She is clearly recovering well from the quite serious operation she underwent in January.
The images of her smile really warm my heart and I’m sure millions of others will be so happy to see the princess outside.
There have been so many rumors spread about her on social media but they can now be put aside.
It was wonderful to see William by Kate’s side. I bet other visitors to the farm shop couldn’t believe their eyes when they walked in.
But I know the store, it’s close to their house and sells beautiful products.
Kate really got hammered by some for doctoring her Mother’s Day photo.
I really felt for her; she was just trying to paint a nice picture of her family.
So it’s nice to see these beautiful images of her with a radiant smile and clearly on her way back to full health.
Now I’m so looking forward to her coming back to life as a working Royal, when she’s completely ready. She is missed by millions.
Despite the video clearly showing the princess recovering well, crazy conspiracy theorists were still spreading wild rumors online.
Last night it was revealed that Wills was now asking: “When will it stop?”
A royal author wrote in the Daily email that William, 41, is said to feel like he has “the weight of the world on his shoulders” with his father also ill as rumors swirl.
Rebecca English wrote: “I know he is angry, frustrated and, yes, deeply disappointed about what has happened in recent weeks. ‘When will it all stop?’ he would have asked.”
She said worst of all would be the ridiculous theories being thrown around online.
Rebecce continued: ‘Theories including claims that she used a body double at the Windsor Farm Shop and that this week’s news of her medical records was deliberately leaked to deflect that.’
‘Fire Kate’
THE Sun led the way in defending Princess Kate last week as she faced criticism from all quarters over the edited photo saga.
Social media trolls were quick to attack the future queen for editing a Mother’s Day family photo.
Media critics also had their say, alongside the idiotic conspiracy theorists, but The Sun stood alone and said: Fire Kate.
Our front page read: ‘The furious attacks on the future queen for photoshopping a family photo for Mother’s Day are not just absurd.
‘They now look like a campaign of bullying against a devoted mother, recovering from major surgery, who simply wanted to provide the public with a perfect portrait of her and her children.
“She meant well, made a mistake and made a mistake. Fair enough.
“Now leave her alone to get over her surgery.”
