The A56 appeared separately in a series of French repair -itatness indices posted by Samsung France, where he scored 8.4, a drop of 0.1 points on its predecessor (via Gsmarena). It is clear that the launch time line before the beginning of 2025 seems to be on its way.

What specifications and functions does the Samsung Galaxy A56 have?
The Galaxy A56 is set to receive various remarkable upgrades from the Galaxy A55. Here is a detailed view of the rumor specifications and characteristics of the coming device.
Design
In November 2024, the Galaxy A56 was first unveiled in CAD-based renders (via Android Headlines), with various design changes and important specifications.
One of the most striking design updates is the introduction of a single, oval-shaped black camera island with three rear cameras and an LED flash. This marks a shift of the individual mini islands that characterized earlier models in the A5X series.
The design also has a flat frame with light turns for comfort, while the right side of the phone includes the ‘Key Island’, in which the buttons for power and volume houses, with a light thumb to improve usability.
The display seems to be flat, with a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera. Although the edges are thin, they are not uniform, because the bottom ring looks a bit thicker.
The rear panel of the device also seems flat, with the cameraserel in the top left corner, noticeable from the surface.
Expect a glass back with a metal frame, possibly with an IP67 or IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and back of the phone.
Samsung can also further refine the design by reducing the ring size and improving the overall build quality. The phone is expected to be available in multiple colors, similar to the ice blue, lilac, navy and lemon of the Galaxy A55.
The phone has been unveiled, thanks to live images shared by the Chinese Tenaa certification agency (via Gsmarena). These images confirm earlier leaks and cad -renders (above), with the design of the device.
It is now more secure than before that the Galaxy A56 will have a redesigned camera island, which has three sensors in an oval setup that is comparable to the Z -fold 6, with the LED flash on the side, as can be seen On last year’s Galaxy A55. The front design is very similar to its predecessor and retains the recess of the punch hole for the improved selfie camera.
On the right side of the device, again, Samsung’s ‘Key Island’ design subtly the area around the buttons for power and volume.
Reproduction
The Galaxy A56 will probably have a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Super Amoled display, with a refresh rate of 120Hz-it the same as the A55.
However, this display can support HDR10+ and offer an improved brightness output compared to its predecessor, which was assessed at 1000 nits.

If Samsung decides to increase the maximum brightness, this can improve visibility in clear outside conditions, a function that users will undoubtedly appreciate.
Performance
The Galaxy A56 is expected to be powered by the new Exynos 1580 chipset, which has a 1+3+4 core configuration. This includes one high-performance cortex-A720-core at 2.91 GHz, three Cortex-A720 Cores at 2.6 GHz and four Cortex-A520 Cores at 1.95 GHz.
According to a Geekbench-Run from July (via Gsmarena), this configuration must offer a considerable boost in the performance, making it comparable to the Snapdragon 888-one chip that driven a lot of flagship class telephones in 2021.

The Exynos 1580 is likely to be linked to the Xclipse 540 GPU, based on the RDNA2 architecture of AMD, which offers better graphic performance than previous generations. This combination must make flexible gaming and multitasking experiences possible, together with support for advanced AI functions.
The phone is probably available in 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB RAM storage options. However, a RAM variant of 12 GB can also be available in some countries, comparable to the A55.
The Leaker Anthony also suggests the Exynos 1580, plus configurations of 8/12 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage.
Cameras
Although specific details about the camera settings are not confirmed, the Galaxy A56 will probably retain the configuration of the triple camera that is seen on its predecessor. This can include a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP UltraWide lens and a 5MP depth or macrosensor, plus a 32MP camera on the front for selfies.
A recent leak from a Dutch site Galaxy Club reveals more details about the cameras of the A56 and presents both positive and negative changes. According to the report, the most important improvement is an improved selfie camera, which is expected to have a 12MP sensor, to replace the 32MP camera at the front used in earlier models since the Galaxy A51.
This new camera can even draw on technology in the Samsung flag shiver, promises better quality for selfies, although the new camera will have fewer megapixels.

However, the rest of the A56 cameras are set to stay the same as those on the A55, with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP macro lens. The X -Leaker Anthony confirmed this.
In particular, there is no addition of a telephoto lens, so fans who hope for this function in the A5X series, will probably have to wait for future models, possibly the Galaxy A57.
In addition, Samsung’s software improvements, together with AI functions that are supported by the new chipset, can further improve the performance of the camera.
Battery and charging
The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) Certification confirms that the phone will include a battery with an assessment of 4,905 mAh (via Mysmartprice), although the advertised typical capacity is expected to vary between 5,000-5.100 mAh. Earlier, the Leaker Anthony also reported the same capacity.
Although the battery capacity remains unchanged compared to the Galaxy A55, the improved efficiency of the new Exynos 1580 chipset can lead to a better battery life.

According to recent news from China (via Gsmarena), the Galaxy A56 in China is certified with support for 45W Wired Charging.
The same loading speed has also been spotted in the TUV Rheinland certification database (via Gizmochina).
Software
The Galaxy A56 will probably be executed on Android 15, with Samsung’s One onion 7.1 from the box. This version of one user interface is expected to bring various new functions, including improved privacy controls, improved AI options and better integration with the ecosystem of Samsung of devices and services.
There are also rumors that suggest that Samsung is planning to offer Android OS and security updates for his new mid-range devices for up to six years, which means that the Galaxy A56 could receive updates to Android 21.
This long -term support is a strong sales argument for users who are looking for a device that has remains up to date and safe for years.
