Galaxy Tab S11: In Summary

Samsung has been at the forefront of Android tablets for almost one and a half decade.
For a while it was the only realistic alternative to the iPad, but there is more competition than ever in 2025.
The latest Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra are impressive devices, but there is still room for improvement.
So what will Samsung bring to the table with its next generation? Here is everything we expect from the upcoming S11 series Galaxy Tab S11.
When is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 released?

Samsung has historically followed a predictable release schedule for its Galaxy Tab S series, with new models that usually arrive in the second half of the year.
The last few generations are launched here:

- Galaxy Tab S9 series – August 2023
- Galaxy Tab S8 series – February 2022
- Galaxy Tab S7 series – September 2020
In general we look everywhere between a year and 18 months between new releases. Based on that, we expect the Galaxy Tab S11 series to be launched in the end of 2025 or early 2026. If it is the last, there is a chance that we can see them next to the Galaxy S26 telephones.
A launch date of H2 2025, so every moment between July and December, is mentioned. But it is not clear how credible this is.

But how many models will there be? Samsung omitted the compact option for the S10 generation, aimed at only plus and ultram models.
It is possible that Samsung retains the strategy with two devices for the S11 series, at least in the first instance. Although it looks that it will simply be a normal tab S11 and Tab S11, with the plus model this time sacrificed.
However, it may be a simple case that the Plus model is regularly renamed. In any case, it is not logical that the basic model is known as ‘plus’.
Elsewhere, as was the case with the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S20, can the successor to the Galaxy Tab S10 series be called the Galaxy Tab S20 series? Alternatively it can be known as the Galaxy Tab S25, to coordinate the naming to the Galaxy S25 series.

How much does the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 cost?

The prices for the Samsung flag tablets are steadily climbing with every new release.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra started at £ 1,199/$ 1,199 for the Base Wi-Fi model, while the Galaxy Tab S10+ was more affordable at £ 999/$ 999.99.

With constant progress in display technology, performance -upgrades and the integration of the AI functions of Samsung, it is likely that the Galaxy Tab S11 series starts at a similar price.
However, if there are important changes, we can see further price increases. Nothing has been unveiled at this stage.

Design
The Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra’s slim and sustainable design will probably inspire the S11 -Line -Up.
Expect premium materials such as armoredaluminum for the chassis, which is both strong and lightweight, together with IP68 water and dust resistance.
Although it seems as if the regular Tab S11 will replace the S10+ tab in the Samsung arrangement, it is not clear whether this is a simple rename or the company will return to a more compact design.
Although the S10 series saw small refinements in thickness and weight, further reductions in these dimensions could make the Galaxy Tab S11+ even more portable.
Samsung can also introduce new color options.

The Amoled displays of Samsung have been a leader and the Tab S11 series will probably push this further.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra probably has the same huge 14.6-inch Amoled panel, with a 120Hz and resolution that at least corresponds to the current 2960 × 1848.

Assuming it is accompanied by the S11 tab, we could see a display that is comparable to the 11-inch, 1600 × 2560 panel on the regular Galaxy Tab S9.
Or it can stay with a larger screen such as the 12.4-inch found on the Tab S10+. There were no rumors at this stage.
Performance
The Galaxy Tab S10 series introduced MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ chipset, which marked a deviation from the Snapdragon processors of Qualcomm.
It seems that this is set to continue with a rumor that suggests that both tablets will be equipped with one of the current flagship chipsets from MediaTek, the Dimensity 9400 or 9400+. The latter is just a overclock version that is slightly more powerful.
Both option will probably ensure strong performance for multitasking, gaming and creative work.

Expect the ram and storage configurations to remain generous, starting with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage with support for Micro-SD card.

Cameras
Tablets are not traditional camera -free devices, but the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra’s dual cameras on the front (12MP Main, 12Mp Ultrawide) were a striking function.
Samsung could further refine these and possibly offer improved sensors and AI improvements for video calls and content creation. On the back, a high-quality primary camera and an ultrawide option will probably remain the same as the current 13MP Main and 8MP Ultrawide.
The regular Tab S11 could follow the S10+ by matching the rear sensors of the S10 Ultra, but by dropping the 12MP ultrawide on the front. Or it can also throw away the 8MP Ultrawide on the back, in accordance with what we saw on the Regulr Tab S10.
However, it is worth noting that there are no concrete rumors about the cameras on the S11 series Galaxy Tab S11, so this is currently only speculation.
Battery and charging
The battery life is always crucial for tablets, so we can at least expect a few improvements.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra’s 11,200 mAh battery offered a respectable endurance, so the S11Tultra can have an even greater capacity or efficiency gains through software optimization.

On the regular tab S11 we could see a battery of 10,090 mAh such as the Tab S11+, or an 8400 mAh cell such as the Tab S9. Or Samsung could choose a completely new battery capacity.
Anyway, all those earlier models were equipped with 45W wired, so it would be a surprise to see that change. However, there are no concrete battery or rumors at this stage.
Software
From the box the Galaxy Tab S11 series is probably performed on Samsung’s One onion 7, based on Android 15. Improved multitasking functions, refined Stylus integration and extensive AI options, the S11 series can make a productivity spowerhouse.

However, it could be performed on one onion 8 and Android 16, if it is launched enough in the year. Anyway, expects Samsung to continue with seven years of update support, which remains the leader at the time of writing.
