The Los Angeles-based group offers significant cash rewards to individuals who demonstrate paranormal abilities within controlled scientific testing environments.
Over the years, several challenges have arisen in testing paranormal phenomena, with the James Randi Educational Foundation’s $1 million offer to prove paranormal abilities being one of the most prominent.
Now the Center for Inquiry Investigations Group (CFIIG) Paranormal Challenge is offering a $500,000 prize to anyone who can demonstrate any paranormal, supernatural or occult power under scientific testing conditions.
CFIIG will work with applicants to design the test protocol and define the conditions under which the test will take place.
In most cases, the applicant is asked to perform an informal demonstration of the claimed ability or phenomenon; If the demonstration is successful, it will be followed by a formal test, which will be administered by CFIIG representatives.
The CFIIG conducts demonstrations and tests at CFI West in Los Angeles, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area, or in special circumstances at one of our subsidiaries around the world.
More information about the challenge and how you can participate can be found on the website CFIIG.org website.
