Dan Fogler is best known for his roles, while Luke Abrams hit the Walking Dead and as Jacob Kowalski in the Fantastic Beasts series. Now he is ready to take on another large Geeky franchise.
In a direct quote for Tech advisor at MCM Comic Con London, he did not unveil one, but two huge series that he would like to be part of what he has not yet worked on:
‘I had to work with [James] Mangold recently on a completely unknown … Mangold was connected to Indiana Jones, and he is going to make a Star Wars film at one point. So I’m just, see what happens there. Give him a little text. But I would like to be in that world. I would also like to be in the Indiana Jones world, if they can still squeeze out a movie.
I told Fogler that Star Wars also has a large TV universe, where the excellent series andor most recently completed its second and final season, to which he responded:
“Right? There is so much … the opportunities are in my favor”.
The Mangold Star Wars project Fogler refers to was unveiled in April 2023. It will investigate the dawn of the Jedi and the origin of the mysterious power, and it will be dropped off about 25,000 years before the prequel trilogy -and, by Proxy, Andor.
Star Wars also has several other projects in the pipeline, including the Mandalorian & Grogu film, Ahsoka season 2 and a film in development through new -Zeelandse Comedy legend, Taika Waititi.
Fogler was not the only star present in Comic Con this weekend. Doctor Who and Good Omens actor David Tennant was interviewed and teased a very secret project on which he worked.
