Archeology enthusiasts say they have “proof” that time travel exists after claiming a helicopter and a plane were found in Egyptian hieroglyphs.
The image of the 3,000-year-old hieroglyphics found in the Temple of Seti I in Abydos, Egypt, appears to show a helicopter, a futuristic-looking plane and an airplane, among insects and snakes.
It is now claimed that the ‘helicopter hieroglyphs’ – as they are known – are evidence that the Egyptians must have seen these modern aircraft, or at least had representations of them.
According to believers, aliens who visited Earth from the future were behind the Egyptian pyramids and even the British Stonehenge.
Stephen Meera, chairman of the Manchester Association of Paranormal Investigation & Training, introduced the image of the hieroglyphs at a UFO conference in Westminster, London.
The UFOologist said to the audience, “Look, it has what looks like the rotor blade and here is what looks like a rudder.”
Discussing the plane, Meera added, “What about this? Is that a rudder and this the wing?
“I’m not saying this is a helicopter, but it’s worth considering. Why would they put this footage in there and would they have seen it?”
For skeptics, however, the carved hieroglyphs are not proof that the ancient Egyptians encountered beings from the future, as none of their writings mention airplanes or time-traveling beings.
According to Rain is cool blog, the marks are the result of an error.
The hieroglyphs were created by overlapping carvings with different names, including pharaohs Seti I and Ramesses II, superimposed on each other, effectively creating the futuristic hieroglyphs.
The website said: ‘Pharaohs had five names.
“Each name usually starts with specific icons.”
