He was among the protesters who stormed the US Capitol in Washington DC on January 6, 2021.
Angeli was at the front of a group of agitators who had to deal with DC police officers who desperately tried in vain to protect the establishment.
He made his way to the Senate chamber, where he was seen behind the podium in the Senate chamber where Vice President Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi had been moments earlier.
The protest was a deliberate intrusion to interrupt Congress as it was counting states’ electoral votes to officially certify President-elect Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory.
Some Republicans have falsely claimed that Angeli is a member of the far-left group Antifa.

In November 2021, Angeli began trending on Twitter after it was reported that federal authorities were seeking a 51-month prison sentence for the protester.
On November 17, 2021, he was finally sentenced to 41 months in prison.
In September 2021, Angeli pleaded guilty to obstructing a civil proceeding.
Angeli’s defense argued that he would have served more than 300 days in custody, which would be an adequate sentence.
What conspiracy theories does Jake Angeli believe in?
QAnon conspiracy theorists reportedly believe that former President Donald Trump is engaged in a secret war against elite Satan-worshipping pedophiles in government, business and the media, who will one day be arrested and executed.
Jake, who previously identified as a singer and actor, claims he is able to “see into these other higher dimensions than these entities – these pedophiles, these rapists, these really high-ranking people.”
A filmed interview has emerged of the tattooed oddball who has gained a following online by spouting the QAnon conspiracy theory.
Jake said, “As a shaman, I’m a multi-dimensional or hyper-dimensional being, okay.”
He claims he is able to “see into these other higher dimensions of these entities – these pedophiles, these rapists, these really high-ranking people.
He added: “And most people can’t see that because the third eye isn’t open.”
One of his crazy claims is that the world’s elites have underground bases where they develop “anti-gravity technology” and “infinite energy.”
In the ten-minute tirade, in which his views are never questioned, he also said that the elites, including the “banking cartels”, are involved in “cloning and all kinds of crazy things” and want to create a “one world government”. “
He said Trump is the “good cop in this global organization” personally responsible for the arrests of Harvey Weinstein and the leak of Hillary Clinton’s campaign emails.
