Hundreds of thousands of people filled the streets of London to demand that Israel stop its brutal attacks on Gaza in its bid to destroy Hamas.

Mainstream media reports that at least 100,000 people are gathering in the streets, but video footage on the ground suggests this number could be much higher.

London, where no protests of this scale took place after Israelis were slaughtered by Hamas, is calling for an Israeli ceasefire.

Protesters marched in the Victoria Embankment Gardens on the Thames holding signs reading “Gaza, stop the carnage” and “Liberate Palestine, end Israeli occupation.” Others chanted: “Stop arming Israel, stop bombing Gaza” and “Gaza, stop the massacre.” Sun reported.

Thousands of Metropolitan Police officers have been deployed to deal with the huge crowds, and clashes have been witnessed between them.

Protesters gathered with banners and posters, while others lit off fireworks and red and green flares in solidarity with the Palestinian flag.

This comes as Israel carried out continuous airstrikes in Gaza for weeks, in the wake of Hamas’ October 7 terror attack on the Jewish nation.
Israel cut off power and communications to millions of people trapped in Gaza on Friday before launching the first wave of its ground invasion as tanks and thousands of troops closed in on the Palestinian enclave.
The United Nations adopted a resolution on Friday calling for an “immediate, lasting and lasting humanitarian ceasefire” after 120 countries voted in favor.
The US and Israel were two of only fourteen countries that voted against.
