LOVE Island conspiracy theorists have come up with a bizarre argument claiming that producers have a “plan” to protect a specific islander and wipe out another islander.
The villa has been in chaos since Casa Amor’s explosive recoupling on Wednesday night, which saw six contestants dumped from the show.
A point of contention for Love Island viewers is the return of Islander Molly Marsh, who was sent off in spectacular fashion when Kady McDermott ‘stole’ her partner Zachariah Noble.
Just days after returning home, Molly showed up back at Casa Amor, armed with the knowledge that Zach had wasted no time in going ahead and kissing Kady.
However, the twist did not go down well with viewers who quickly accused Love Island bosses of having an agenda and pushing the 21-year-old to win the show.
And despite initially playing it cool and telling Zach he would have to work hard for her trust and affection, Molly was soon back in the 25-year-old’s arms.
On the day of the recoupling, Kady chose to remain single and stay with Zach, but was stunned when he walked back in with Molly.
And now it seems conspiracy theorists have come up with a new idea to keep them awake at night.
Fasten your seat belt, there’s a lot to unpack.
On social media, many began speculating that producers would encourage Catherine Agbaje, 22, to go with Elom Ahlijah-Wilson, 22, and drop fan-favorite Scott van-der-Sluis, also 22.
Knowing that this union would irritate the viewers, people think that it was also done so that the fans would turn against Catherine, who had become extremely popular until then.
After her return, fans branded Catherine a “b****” for her comments to Scott at the recoupling and during Thursday night’s show she ended up yelling at him for his reaction to her dumping him.
Some viewers think this is all a ploy to divert attention from Molly so that when the public votes, she doesn’t get kicked out and Catherine does.
Clearing Molly’s path to ultimately win the show with Zach.
